Version 2.5.1
The ice arena was one of my better attempts at getting away from the shoot-kill-win mentality that is so prevalent in Car Wars. It was first created back in 1992 and has since undergone several modifications.
This latest arena, the Town Arena was first tested in the 1996 Club Championships. This arena celebrates mass destruction on a large scale. Points were awarded for destroying the buildings. It will be used for the 1997 combined Club Duelling & Racing Championships.
Commemorating the loss of my favorite parking lot at U.B.C., I created the Parking Arena in response to the players' demands for a simpler arena. However, simplicity only led to one of the bloodiest club championships to have ever been seen by the likes of Car Wars. This arena is currently being polished up.
