Version 2.5.1
"Vengeance..." -- as always, this word was the first word that gurgled into my cloning chamber as I awoke... My second -- "Pain..." came quickly after.
My eyes blazed through the murky nutrient fluids to stab at the foe that dared return me to my grave. From above, his despicable grin mocked me. This fool had dared too much -- he survived my strongest blows, humiliated me in front of my followers, and had even allowed his interview to play on the television as I awoke from cloning. This was a insult I could not leave unanswered!
As I had done twenty times before, I screamed my oath of revenge against this sewer rat until I collapsed from exhaustion. But RJ dared to continue smiling on the TV screen above my chamber as he gave his interview. That fool had send me to the underworld more than twenty times. But I refuse to allow him victory. Like morning breath, I keep returning. I will not yield to death, not until I savour the sweet taste of victory.
This last time, I had thought I had gotten him. Consulting with the best of computer and duelling minds, I had developed a strategy to counter RJ's formidable abilities. Using my considerable wealth and power, I sponsored a new arena that was built in the form of a town. I commissioned the mightiest of vehicles to be built for me. I even bribed the arena officials and gained the schematics of my opponents' vehicles. Nothing should have gone wrong...
As you might have guessed, RJ won.
The Division 20 battle consisted of 4 opponents: Bruce, RJ, MS, and GJ. Points were awarded for destroying buildings (2 pts for a breach, 4 pts for destruction) and for firepower or maneuver killing each other (2 pts). In the end, the point spread was: RJ = 82 pts, MS = 65 pts, GJ = 56 pts, and Bruce = 28 pts.

Bruce's vehicle was disabled by RJ in a rather nasty ram. Bruce was later killed by GJ, RJ's brother. GJ blew through a building and Bruce was taken out by the burst effect as he was attempting to destroy a building with a hatchet.
RJ lost his tires near the end of the duel and slid into the rubble of building. MS, who had been chasing RJ, overshot RJ as he slid into the rubble. MS then faced GJ. In a desperate move, MS swung his vehicle away from GJ and released his spikedropper. GJ's tires were shreaded, but not before ramming MS. MS was killed as a result, and GJ immobilized.
The arena was leveled. All 22 buildings were turned to rubble. The gas stations were spewing fire. All the vehicles were immobilized. Bruce was dead. A typical AVRO battle.
A modified version of the Town Arena is now available for viewing in the Arenas section.
