SWAT HQ
World Autoduel Association
WADA is an unofficial organization operated by the Seattle
Washington Autoduel Team that provides resources for
tournament players of Car Wars.
From 1999 to 2002, SWAT operated the WADA Car Wars League, an
international tournament where Car Wars players
around the world competed against other in a championship points
race similar to the scoring formats used by Formula One, the TUDOR
United SportsCar Championship, and the former American Le Mans
Series. The tournament's scoring system was designed to reward
playing Car Wars on a regular basis as well as
winning.
Car Wars players are welcome to adopt the WADA Car Wars League
tournament system for their own use.
If there is interest in a new WADA Car Wars League, and depending on
the schedule of SWAT, a WADA Car Wars League may be started in 2015
or 2016. Please
contact SWAT for questions regarding the WADA Car Wars League.
