Background

Two teams in this league, the Blue Sox and 55ers, began on a tabletop dice game years ago. 55ers for a friend's fondness for the great Brooklyn squad that finally broke through, they had all the greats and not-so-greats, from Snider and Koufax to, well, less known players. The teams move to Earl for the Amiga, EWB 2 for IBM, they tried to make it to Tony LaRussa III, and are currently situated on OldTime Baseball. The league quickly grew to six teams, and I believe a 7th team loaded with newbies, the Storm, have struggled against all-time greats. Two teams have dominating line ups, the Blue Sox and the Aeros, but the Blue Sox have found much greater success. In season 6 the league welcome the Pacific League folks, with new teams stocked with an interesting assortment of talented Negro League players, stars from recent years, and others who are fodder.
