Birthmother Leta Bakke and birthfather Michael Petersen(see pictures below) are looking for their baby girl born October 22, 1984, Riverton Hospital, Seattle, Washington
UPDATE #1: Leta and Mike are very close to speaking with (and meeting) their daughter. Words can't describe how excited they are. The adoptive mother has unselfishly provided pictures below; and their little baby girl has grown into a beautiful young lady named Erin.
UPDATE #2: During Aug 2003, Erin was able to fly to Seattle and spend a week with Leta and Mike (her birth parents), and Mike's mother and grandmother (Erin's grandmother and great grandmother). It was wonderful. Here is a picture of this lovely young lady who has entered our lives and fulfilled a dream.

The couple was married in 1974.
The couple adopted another little boy whose name might be Micah who was about 2 years old when the baby girl was adopted.

Baby Girl Bakke is now 18. If she is looking for her birthmother and birthfather, they are looking for her too. And she has grandparents who would be thrilled to know her also. We hope she is searching the Internet and finds this web page.

Mike and Leta have stayed in contact all these years, hoping and waiting for the day when they could meet their daughter.
