Long ago (probably talking early 1980s), my sister Debbie still lived at our family home where we all grew up, while she was a commuter student at the University of Washington. I got this card for her "Shepherder's Bread (Basque)", which we always called Basque Bread. Don't ask me about the authenticity; I know nothing, other than that it was really amazing.
I'm going to try to get around to making a heavily modified version of it in the next week or so. I'll add my version of the recipe if it turns out to be worth eating. Otherwise, I'll give in, make hers and work up from there.
