Gary Feuerstein
I got to know Gary because he is an old friend of Wills. I used to live with Will back in the early 80's and Gary was a frequent visitor to the house. Gary is a man of many talents. He is a fine poet as well as a great conversationalist. He knows so much about many different subjects but the one that fascinates me the most is to hear him talk about religion. I don't know how he knows so much about all of world's religions, but he does. One thing I don't like is when he beats me, every time, in "Poop-Out" (a dice game). If you could win the lottery with dice, Gary would be a natural.
Currently Gary is living in Pullman and has been there for over 10 years. I just got back from a visit there (July 2005) and he showed me many of the cool sights the city has to offer. He is a "DJ" (disc jockey) for a public radio station in Moscow, Idaho. He has a Jazz show, in which he plays Jazz and many softer rock type songs (i.e. the singers have good vocals). His show runs from noon to 3:00 on Mondays and his stage name is "Gare Bear".
