With a populace under siege by hordes of scum, violence
has become the only form of pleasure left to Las Cruces
citizens. Whenever the arena staff runs out of competitors
to soothe the audience's blood lust, there's always a steady
supply of criminals to supplement the schedule gaps.
Arena Notes:
The outer walls are 20 feet high and 60 DP. The interior
obstacles are 15 feet high and 20 DP. Destroying one will
create a 2" by 2" debris field . The twelve gates are 10
feet tall, 15 feet wide, 50 DP, and take one second to
open/close.

Arena Special Events:
The People's Court: As mentioned earlier, criminals
caught by the police are often used for cheap thrills in the
arena. All criminals, from mass murderers, to rapists to
traffic violators, are put through one-sided slaughters
where few survive.
Eve of the Storm: This is a standard "point grabbing"
event where contestants score by making kills and crossing
checkpoints.
1 Point - Circling an outer square (total of six
points, no more than two points in any outer square).
2 Points - Vehicular kill.
3 Points - Vehicular kill (after circling four outer
squares).
The duellist who acquires the most points in a set time
limit is the winner. Being killed, surrendering, or leaving
the arena before the time limit expires are grounds for
disqualification. |
