Having played guitar and bass since the 60's I have a long term interest in them. I
still own the 1962 Fender Precision Bass that I
bought while in high school. I played this bass all through college in the bands I belonged to.
This picture shows the bass in front of my amp which is a 1966 Fender Bassman
top with a Dual Showman bottom (2-15" JBL D130Fs). Our band put VOX grill cloth on so we would have matching looks
to our amplifiers. The neck date on the bass is August 2, 1962. Its electronics are all original. I purchased the bass used in Centralia, WA in 1965.

I also own a 1966 Gibson
ES330-TD which I purchased new and is in mint condition. I traded my Fender Jazzmaster in on the Gibson at Joos Music in Lynnwood, WA.

In 1997 I purchased a Fender Stratocaster which is an American Standard model. It is a nice compliment to the hollow body Gibson. I generally
play the Strat through a Fender G-Dec 30 amplifier. I also have a Takamine F-360S which is from the mid 70's. It is essential a Martin D-28
copy, so much so that Takamine had to change the headstock to not be such a clone.
My oldest guitar is over 100 years old. I do not know the brand but it belonged to my Grandmother
who brought it with her when she moved from Michigan to Washington state at the age of 16 in 1905.

This
is a photo of my bass and a Fender Jazzmaster I used to own back in the 60's which I used
as a trade in on the Gibson. The amplifier was built from an Eico hi-fi amp with
2-12" Norelco speakers.
