K-SPEW Talk Radio provides a glimpse into the studio, mind, and message of a canonical right-wing talk radio host in an attempt to answer the question: "Who are these strange, unseen people behind the microphone, and why are they filling the ether with hate, paranoia and intolerance?"
Peering more closely at the twisted forces motivating the spokesmen (and they are invariably men, aren't they?) of division and intolerance, we find emblazoned upon their foreheads their guiding principles of hate, anger, racism, homophobia, greed, and fear of women.
K-SPEW Talk Radio was exhibited at the Bellevue Art Museum (Bellevue, WA) and the Bumbershoot Arts Festival (Seattle, WA) in 1996.
