Locked Out
What is one to do,
When she comes home
To find she is
Locked out.
She can't go in,
But she can't leave,
For there is nowhere else to go.
How will she get in...
There is no key.
None to let her in...
She longs to be
Within the warmth
And safety of her
Home walls, yet
She is stuck on
The outside, in the
Cold, rain and snow.
Shall her heart
Freeze too, like she
Is freezing now
In the cold...
Locked out
Is it her fate
To sit outside
Looking in, freezing
For all eternity?
Is there no hope
Of ever not being
Locked out?
