I once had this fellow
Call me a fool
I remember this because
His face shined like a jewel
This precious remembrance
Comes my way now and then
Like when I lose my patience with
My fellow man
Yes! I remember
That jewel of a face
It reminds me daily, that
I'm a part of the human race
