Hopes for the Tao, found no place other
Apples and homes, farmers and lovers
Cheaters and liars, lives in despair
Envy and grief, with little relief
Playing the game with a cast of 26 clowns
One from New York, most from Wenatchee
One Californian...man it got nasty
Hermits are crabs, with no fun or loving
There is hate all around
And a moon over Wenatchee
