This will place all of Seanet's 20th floor data center on temporary power for up to 5 days while the transfer switch is replaced. The initial transfer is scheduled to begin at 10:00AM PDT on Tuesday, September 8th and the final transfer back is expected to be completed by 6:00pm on Monday, September 14th. This transfer is necessary to ensure proper operation of the building's electrical system. Seanet's 20th floor data center will transfer to UPS power while the riser switch is moved. Seanet does not expect any disruption of service for your equipment during this time. This notice is to remind all customers to make the necessary preparations (back-up computers, etc.) prior to the commencement of this testing in the case of an unexpected event. This maintenance is being conducted by the Westin Building. There is always the possibility of some unforeseen problem that could extend the maintenance period, or cause an unexpected disruption of service during this period.
