Windows XP: Internet Connection Wizard

This is the instructions for setting up your dial-up connection. If you need to check your settings please go to the Checking the Settings page.

1. Click the Start button.
2. Click Control Panel.
3. Click on Network and Internet Connections.
4. Click on Internet Options.
5. In the Connections tab click once on Setup.
6. Welcome to the New Connection Wizard! Click Next.
7. For the Network Connection Type select Connect to the Internet and click on Next.
8. Select Set up my connection manually and click on Next.
9. Select Connect using a dial-up modem and click on Next.
10. For your connection name enter Seanet and click on Next.
11. Now to enter Seanet's Number. Check the proper phone number to use. Put all 10 digits in the Phone number field. Click on Next.
12. Internet Account Information Use your fully qualified username.

    Type in your password in the Password field and retype your password in the Confirm password field. Leave the first two boxes checked and uncheck Turn on Internet Connection Firewall. Click on Next.
13. Completing the New Connection Wizard – Uncheck Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop. Click on Finish. YOU'RE DONE!
