PROJECT: To enable POSAM (piezoelectric oligonucleotide DNA
synthesis array machine) with machine vision to inspect for improper
phosphoramidite droplet dispensing via an ink jet print head.
Imaging system required to capture 47 X 35 clear ~100 micron diameter
droplets on a clear slide with 13.2 millimeter wide field of view and
135-millimeter working distance. The project required collimated illumination.
