He and I were sitting on the side of the lecture platform and he started talking to a woman whom, I gathered, he knew from a long time ago. I couldn't help but hear the conversation. She said, "I saw two shows of art and prints, and I looked for your name but I didn't see it." He kind of laughed and said, "Well, I try to keep my name out of shows these days." Boy, she gave him a funny look. "What? What do you mean?" He laughed again and went on: "What I mean is, when you're doing as little as I am along the lines of those kinds of shows, it isn't hard to be missed!"

After the curator left he seemed excited to get started. I don't know, yet, what he has in mind, but I have a hunch I could find out if I'd just go mine.
