Seattle - Our Home This photo of the Space Needle is somewhat unusual. Although the top of the Needle is usually white, it is painted its original color, "galaxy gold" (a.k.a., orange), in this picture. It was painted this color for its fortieth anniversary, back in 2002.

We took some of these ourselves; some are "borrowed." We hope you enjoy them all!
