We rolled into town fairly late at night, and thus didn't have a lot of choice of places to stay. The place we ended up in was listed as a hotel in the train station directory, but when we got there, we discovered it also doubled as a church facility of some sort. There were crosses and pictures of Jesus on the walls everywhere. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have let us stay there if we hadn't been married.
The place was under pretty serious renovation. We had the privilege of viewing most of the wire-, pipe- and duct-work in the halls on our floor. Fortunately, the room itself was nice enough, and all the facilities were in working order.
Oh, did I mention we were very close to the train station? (Note bright lights in upper left of picture.) It turns out there are trains coming and going pretty much all night. I was glad I had my earplugs!
Things looked quite a bit better in the morning. The view of Lake Geneva would actually have been terrific if it hadn't been for all the clouds hanging over the lake.

The main Catholic church in the city center was a Renaissance church, as were most of the ones we saw on the entire trip. The façade of this one is particularly ornate.
Inside the church were many especially beautiful stained glass specimens. Here are photos of a few...
