A Mockup is used
to study the shape and fit-up of the components.
This Mockup was
constructed from 1/8" corrugated box board. The pedistals
that the struts
are attached to are cross-sectional representations of the Hull
cross section at
that area. They reflect the outside shape of the Hull, as well as
perfect angular
and dimensional measurements. These were obtained from
extensive study
of the boat's Hull.
The front section
of the right strut has been removed to clear the original
VHS Antenna mount
on the Hull.
