Great effort here to clean and recondition the block. The gasket surfaces have been cleaned, and the bolt holes thread-chased. Cylinders have been honed with the pistons in-situ to break the glaze. The valve lifters were removed, disassembled and cleaned out. I needed to 'prop' the engine with a chain wrench on the balancer, so removal of this, and the timing chain cover had to wait until the block was prepped. |
