He died on 11 Aug 1832 in Danbury Township, Ottawa County, OH. The cause of death was Cholera. He was buried in Danbury Township, Ottawa County, OH.

Benajah married 3 (1) Elizabeth Bradley 1, 2 daughter of James Bradley and Naomi Hotchkiss on 24 Aug 1793 in New Haven, Connecticut. Elizabeth was born 4 on 31 Mar 1771 in New Haven, Connecticut. She died 5 in Feb 1813 in Newburg, Ohio. She was buried 6 in 1841 in Erie Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio.
Elizabeth died during the War of 1812 in Newburg (now Newburg Heights, Cleveland) and was most likely buried in the Newburg Cemetery. When Newburg was annexed to Cleveland, the cemetery was sold to a railroad company and those interred there were reburied in the Erie Street Cemetery in 1841. There is a record of an Eliza Wolcott and it says only that she was buried in 1841. There were no other Wolcotts in the Cleveland area!

Benajah married (2) Rachel Miller daughter of John Miller and Ann unknown on 10 Mar 1822 in Chappell Creek, Erie County. Rachel was born in Chappelle Creek (now Vermilion), Erie, Ohio.
They had the following children:
