Domestic excitement prevails. Well I wish I could say there was a mountain of events and holiday parties etc in these weeks but I can't. I still have two legs, which isn't particularly interesting but certainly is better than the alternative. Roy's still dead.

I had a sort-of interesting theme in mind for the van (the Green Man Van) but not really sure I want to go there. For one thing its a stinky gas guzzler when the motor is runnning; about the opposite from the current spin on the word "green". I am also thinking about the possibilities of molded spray insulating foam... In the shop I've been doing little except rewiring the old electric eyeballs that these days ride on the dashboard of the police car (when parked). And charging battery packs for a roomba-like robot vacuum--the batteries from Ebay work after all! Silly me for using a weak charger. Anyhoo the robot aspect could be fun sometime. And thinking about more vinyl stickers on the car, but again not sure.

Yesterday we took the dog and headed for Boston Bar but turned back due to car trouble. Mark's Tercel has over 300,000 miles and is slowling showing its age. Wednesday last I visited with Hagrid and got to spend time with him and Pat together, which was weird on account of the chemistry involved. Watered Laurel's tree. Worked at home. Went to a ghastly ritualized training on the new civil servant system. Yawn.
