And the difference between a fuse block and a bus bar is... still not sure but I'm learning more every day. Bought a second hand fuse block for the T type 200 amp "catastrophe" fuse. Whatta name. The block price was $8.95, versus the one at Camping World, with fuse, that goes for $90. Not a bad discount.

Was going to the cabin this weekend, but weather looks crappy and anyway there's a poetry slam tonight in Vancouver. I'll stay off stage, I promise.

Well I've hopefully trimmed down the size of my web content. Mainly by reducing the file size of a lot of old photos & cartoons. Most are now under 60kbyte.

A few days ago on the phone I admitted to my mother that the reason I've so many projects is to try to outrun the pace of Mark and my life together. Somehow keeping busy, while making the time go by so fast, somehow also keeps the end at bay. Its all about keeping the end at bay.

Last weekend I decided to drive up there to the cabin despite a nagging lack of energy; tired beyond my 7 hours of sleep is becoming almost routine. Then, oddly, after the drive and various stops and then four hours of work on the bus, I sat and wrote. Its almost as if while I'm working up there I'm somehow renewing myself. Of course if you stretch that point it breaks down, but its no less real.

Today I'm back from another work trip to Seattle. An all-day meeting yesterday, and a "pre-meeting" on Monday. The outcome looks promising, though lots of work to do. Its mostly enjoyable, no complaints so long as I'm not trapped with the "team" longer than a day.

I have reached the limits of Seanet blessed virtual space. I guess I'll have to take some stuff down off the site soon. Where to cut?
The best things in life are free, or so they say. I guess that makes the lumber I'm using in the bus, along with the flashlight I found at the burn pile, right up there with the best. Nothing warms my heart like finding and finding a use for, free stuff.

So the lumber is going into the framing for the partitions I plan to have in the bus. Today I created a small enclosure for the various electrical items--including the inverter, circuit breakter box, DC fuse box, and bus bars. Eventually I hope to get the solar panel controllers in there as well.
