Written on Tuesday, 28 Sep, 10:02 pm: This silly keyboard may bee on its last legs. Every so often the uiop buttons don't work.

Today we were elated to have our offer accepted on an multi-plex in B'ham! All else sort of pales, although everything going on right now is so very good--painting the bus, our health(!), the new property, even the artcar has been like taking care of an old friend. Removing the old sun rotted google eyes has gotten easier, now that I've finally discovered the right silicone glue, and an excellent scraper blade for eyeball removal. Not as surgical as it sounds, believe me. I don't think life could get any sweeter. Even work has finally picked up, its challenging, interesting, and if not rewarding, at least the pay is good. I think Mark and I get along fabulously, even if we sometimes get on each others' nerves. Here we are moving into Fall, a time that I am traditionally depressed, and there's none of that. I can only try to maintain some balance or stability, given that such highs are frequently followed by plummeting lows. Speaking of things to fear in the future, my quarterly time at the doc is tomorrow. Should be okay...
Recently in the news a study in Britain showed how journaling is actually bad for you. Not sure I can tell.
Guy gave me a short tarot reading tonight, which while I can't say I'm a fan of--was right on the money. Mark is indeed behind me every step of the trail these days; decisions about money seem to be front and center; and I do indeed wonder how much time I have, or don't have. No surprises there, but interesting to have it all reflected in a bunch of apparently random cards.

Okay, now we're up to date...today is Sunday, 3 October...and I'm back in Sumas following a very productive time with the bus up in Canada. I talked to Richard, my handy-guy, and he says he'll be able to work on not only the wood stove install, but also the propane furnace. I bought a Hydro Flame heater with pilot light, direct exhaust--and no blower, just what I wanted! Also I picked up a perfect hatch for the ceiling, and a cap for the stove pipe. All found at a great used marine supply shop in Bellingham, downtown. And, they have a fridge for cheap, a black water tank that isn't stinky, toilets, inverters (I think) and lots of misc. Must go back asap...

Anyway, more painting done, Richard ready to move out, and I can't believe how great the weather was to paint this weekend. I've been meaning to post more pics, so here they are:

Yes that's me, posing in front of "Trinity"...

A blue sun? Not sure...but I like it.

Dappled sunlight isn't the best for viewing but no complaints...

One Photoshop concept for the other side is a bit of a contrast to all the above...
This side hasn't been painted yet at all. I'm thinking of something a little more subtle. More later!
