Back from LV on Monday, have to say it was a better trip than I'd expected. Roller coasters, spectacular displays, noise etc. The cops keep the heavy chemical dependents out of sight, though plenty of heavy people in general for some reason, along with lots of fake hair.

The conference on the weekend for NAPWA was excellent, lots of really loving people looking to network for some political leverage. About as multi-cultural as the word can get. And Joe gave me flowers, so over-all I had a great time.

So my new attorney, "Bob", called the prosecuter and delayed my pre-trial, on the grounds that the drug test results aren't in yet from Olympia. So now instead of showing up tomorrow I'll have to wait until May 13th. I'd rather get it out of the way, but, so the wheels of justice grind.

Hoping to schedule the bus with my ladder guy in Bellingham tomorrow.

After returning from Vegas on Monday I drove to Seattle on Tuesday. My gov't computer needed an oil change, or some such. Randy was kind enough to let me spend the night at his house while he motors down to Portland. What a guy. I'm back in Sumas tonight. Enough travel for a while. Two hours behind the wheel in light traffic, thank goodness. I found a Wagner power roller painter thing at Goodwill for $15 hopefully not a rip-off if it works...
