WS_FTP is a popular FTP program for Windows 95/98/NT. These are screen shots from the LE (Free) version of
WS_FTP, which is available at www.ipswitch.com.
This is the main screen of the WS_FTP LE interface:
The left pane represents the local hard drive. The right pane represents the remote server.
To transfer files, highlight them and click on the appropriate arrow between the two panes.
Files can be transfered in ASCII (text) or Binary (images) mode by selecting the radio button below the two
panes.
The Auto check box doesn't do anything unless you have configured some file types in the Options.
To setup new sessions (to different FTP servers) you click on the Connect button on the lower left. (This screen
also appears when you first run the program.) Here's how to set it up to upload to Seanet's Web servers:
