Netscape 4.7x: Setup Wizard

If you have never used netscape 4.7x before, the wizard will pop up. Otherwise you'll have to check the settings manually.

Click "Next"

Type your real name or a nickname in the "Full Name" box. Recipients will see this when you send them email.

Type your email address in the "Email Address" box. Recipients will see this when you send them email.

Click "Next"

You can change the profile name if you like or leave it (if you don't know, leave it).

You can change the directory location if you want, or leave it (if you don't know, leave it).

Click "Next"

In the "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server" box, type "mx.seanet.com"

Click "Next"

In the "Mail server user name" box type your Seanet username. In most cases, this will be the first part of your email address (before the "@" sign).

In the "Incoming Mail Server" box type "pop.seanet.com"

Make sure "POP3" is selected

Click "Next"

In the "News (NNTP) server" box type "news.seanet.com"

Leave the Port 119.

Click "Finish"

To send/receive mail from netscape, click on "Inbox"
