Instructions for setting up Outlook Express 5.0+

Outlook Express Main Screen
- Click on Tools then select Accounts .
|
| If you just need to check the e-mail settings then skip the setup instructions. |

Internet Accounts
- Click on the Mail tab.
- Click on the Add button.
- Select Mail.

Your Name
- Fill in your name as you want it to appear when you send people
e-mail.
- Click Next.
|
 |
Internet E-mail Address
- Fill in your Seanet e-mail address.
- Click Next.
|
 |
E-mail Server Names
- Select POP3 from the pulldown menu at the top.
- Fill in pop.seanet.com as the incoming server, mx.seanet.com as the outgoing
server.
- Click Next

Internet Mail Logon
- Enter your username and password.
- Click Next.

- Click once on your Account to highlight it..
- Click Properties.

General Tab
- Verify Your Name and e-mail address.
|
 |
Servers Tab
- pop.seanet.com as the incoming server
- mx.seanet.com as the outgoing server,
- Verify your username and password.
- Check My server requires authentication.

Connection Tab
- This box can be unchecked because this setting is stored in Internet Explorer's settings.

Security Tab
- The default settings should be fine.
|

Advanced Tab
- Set the Outgoing mail (SMTP) port to 25 OR 587.
- Verify that Incoming mail (POP3) is set to 110
- Click on the OK button

Internet Accounts
- Click on the Close button.
