There are not many settings that need to be adjusted in order for you to use Claris as your e-mail program. To configure Claris, make sure the program is open and click on the Settings menu, then Internet Setup (alternately, you may have a Setup menu with Services). Double click on Internet.

Make sure that you do not have any of the three options at the bottom of this screen checked:

• Do not delete read messages
• Ignore already read messages
• Use Internet Config

Once you have those unchecked, you can fill in the following information:

• Account name: Seanet (or whatever you'd like; it's just an identifier)
• User name: Your Name (whatever you would like to have on your outgoing e-mail messages)
• E-mail address: username@seanet.com (where username is your Seanet login name)
• E-mail password: Your Seanet assigned password
• SMTP host: mx.seanet.com

Click Save.
