Samia Panni
is a vocalist, producer, band leader, composer, percussionist and radio
programmer, who was born in Bangladesh, raised internationally as a
daughter of an ambassador and sings in half a dozen languages. She has
performed with various international groups, including Beija Flor and
L'Orquestra Afrisound.
Joyce Yarrow
is a poet/singer/songwriter originally from New York City who loves
blending music and spoken word. She has created several multimedia performance
pieces, toured with the improvisational jazz group Total Reflex, and
is the author of two mystery novels.
Denny
Stern has been performing as a percussionist in the Bay Area
and the Pacific Northwest for the past twenty years. Working with the
top ensembles, Denny's percussive versatility is apparent in the power
and ease with which he plays Cuban, African and Brazilian rhythms.
Rebeqa
Rivers With
a Bachelors' degree in vocal studies, Rebeqa has been performing and
teaching in the Seattle area for four years. Recently she has performed
with Latin band, Totiyo y amigos, as well as soloing for the Neodandi
Fashion House.
Angie Bolton is
a vocalist, dancer, actress, percussionist who has performed
in many venues around Seattle for over twenty-five years. She is a member
of Tickle Tune Typhoon, an award winning children's music group. Angie
works in the Seattle public schools as a teaching artist.
Mikaela
Romero is
just at home performing R&B, Rock, Jazz, Blues, or Hip-Hop, as she
is the diverse body of Latin music for which she is known for. Mikaela's
ability to move her audience becomes clear the moment you witness her
striking, mellifluous voice coupled with her polished dancing skills.
Jeff
Busch is
an exuberant drummer/percussionist, vocalist, and composer whose passion
for soulful music of varied traditions has led him to perform with jazz,
blues, and gospel groups--as well as calypso, samba, and Cuban jazz
ensembles.
